I came into Newstrength 2 years ago having never touched a weight before, with little motivation to get to the gym frequently, no concept of what being strong felt like, and a heavy dislike of how skinny I had always been. I’m now here, 2 years later, hitting PBs I never thought I’d hit, with over 10kg more muscle on my body, complaining when I have to miss even one day at the gym. The environment that Newstrength provides in both the Herstrength and Newstrength classes makes it 110% easier to continue to turn up each day and make the progress you need to make. Whether it’s going for coffee after a 6:30am class or going to the beach after a 6pm class, Newstrength is much more than just a gym and the community and friendship it provides so effortlessly make it one of the most valuable additions to my life.
